removed from Branford to New York State and later to Michigan. (For

CFG-ic. Sabra Bartholomew, b. 1784 in Conn. (Thankful 4, Dan.3, Dan.2,
Wm.1). Mar. Noah Willis. Died in Erie Co., N.Y., child-
less, about 1870, aged 86. She brought up her niece, LucyBartholomew.
CFG-bA. Isaac Bartholomew, b. Apr. 14, 1794 (Thankful 4, Dan.3, Dan.2,
Wm.1). He mar. Bessie Gassie. Resided, East Evans, N.Y. Had six
children. (Names not known).
CFH-BA. Thaddeus Maltby, b. Jan. 15, 1779 (Benj.4, Benj.3, Dan.2,
Wm.1). Mar. May 18, 1809, Elizabeth Hall, of Wallingford. He died
Jan. 13, 1873, and his wife died July 9, 1870. He joined the church
at Northford, June 7, 1840.
The compiler owns a daguerrotype of Elizabeth Hall Maltby. Her husband was first cousin to the compiler's great-grandfather, Augustus Williams Maltby. The picture belonged to her son, William Hall Maltby, and was presented to me in 1904 by his widow.
